We all have had dreams of having a wonderful life.
As children we were filled with enthusiasm and promise for our
tomorrows. We had dreams of BEING in happy, loving relationships;
using our talents; being the best we could be. We had dreams of
giving to others and of making a difference in the world. Some
of the dreams are long forgotten, and others we have just recently
given up. When we give up a dream, it’s as if we give up
a piece of ourselves.
How our dreams are being actualized as a culture
is reflected daily in what we see and hear in the media. The evening
news represents what a culture looks like when it has forgotten
its dreams and ideals. Watch the news. What does it look like
to you? Is it a world into which you dreamed your children would
be able to grow up and flourish? Our world and our lives are made
by design. Does that world match your design for your family?
Have we had enough destruction, anger, brutality, and mayhem?
Are war and drugs so acceptable that we have not found the will
to say, "That’s enough, stop it!” Haven’t
we killed enough of our children? We can muster the will to make
a difference, but will we? We each have an opportunity to live
our lives and alter the course of history. What is the path our
world will take as a result of who we choose to BE? We can choose
whether we are committed to the drama, or we can choose what we
want to accomplish. Who will alter the course of our culture?
The BEING GAME is
about getting back in touch with those pieces of BEING that are
missing in your life. This book will get you in touch with what
your life is about and how you can live your life more powerfully—personally,
and as a unique expression in our world. You certainly can choose
your dreams and begin making them real.
